Core De Force: The Low Down

core de force

I have to admit, I was pretty excited when I heard about this program.  I have always loved the martial arts elements of the P90X and Les Mills Combat programs, so I knew this one would appeal to me.

Now that I’ve had a chance to try it out, here are my thoughts about the program.

  • It’s a 30 day program that is hard core martial arts training. So we’re talking punching and kicking to your heart’s delight.  You aren’t required to wear weighted gloves while you do it, and you could basically do this program anywhere.
  • I find I don’t need a ton of room to do this program either, so it’s suitable if your workout area is your living room/bedroom/basement etc.
  • This program really targets your core area and trust me, it works.  The workouts are challenging so you’ll tighten and tone your core, burn fat and build muscle.
  • There are 8 workouts and 2 bonus workouts if you get the Deluxe kit.
  • Even though the workouts are challenging, there is a modifier option as well, so people at any fitness level can do this workout.  And remember, the more you do it, the stronger you will get!
  • The workouts are set up in “3 minute rounds”. So you go hard hard hard for 3 minutes and then get a break. Rinse and repeat until the workout is over.

What I Like About Core De Force

Core De Force

  • Plain and simple, this program is fun.  Sure, it’s a workout and it’s challenging, but I never have to really talk myself into doing it.  And on days when I REALLY don’t want to workout, I find that if I plug in one of these workouts, I get going and am ready to rock and roll in no time.  Even though it’s a total sweat fest, it’s still really fun.
  • I like the fact that it isn’t a killer on the knees.  My knees don’t work well with workouts that require non-stop jumping throughout the entire session.  There is a great variety of core work, punching, kicking and cardio, so your knees don’t take a beating.  I like that!
  • Core De Force is challenging without making you want to die.  Yes, you will bust your ass, but you won’t be planning your funeral while you’re doing it.  It’s hard, but I don’t know, it’s doable.
  • This program REALLY targets the core.  I’m over 40 and I’m a mom, so my core needs some work.  I can really feel the moves in all the workouts targeting the midsection, which is GREAT!
  • I also love that I can stream it online with my Beachbody on Demand subscription.  Have you heard of the All Access Pass?  If you haven’t, it’s kind of like Netflix for workouts, AND it’s a great deal price wise too.  Click here to learn more about the All Access Pass. It’s available until the end of February, 2017.

I can definitely see myself picking this program up on a regular basis as I work toward my fitness goals.  It is a total sweat fest that is fun, challenging, and super effective.  It’s also great if you don’t have any equipment either. You can take this on holidays and do it in your hotel room or bedroom. Super convenient.
